2015 was a year full of lasts. I went to my last prom, my last spring break with my family, and my last day of high school. Graduation continues to feel surreal. I spent six years with the same people, seeing them practically every single day and I know they all had an impact on shaping me into the person I graduated as. In sixth grade, when I joined the program I graduated from this year, I had no idea what kind of affect the overwhelming positivity, determination, and general goodness of my fellow students would have on the shy, unconfident 12-year-old I began as. To all of them - thank you.
2015 was also a year full of firsts. I began college, went to my first college football game, joined a sorority, made some new wonderful friends, and have had some amazing experiences. It's hard to believe that I've completed 1/8th of my college career already. Everyone has always said that college goes by quicker than anything else - they're right. I continue to try to step back and take in the view every now and then to ensure that I'm not missing anything. I'm extremely thankful for my experience thus far and I'm excited to see what 2016 will hold.
