The Biltmore at Christmastime

Over Thanksgiving break, my family took a little trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. We went earlier this year, but we wanted to see it all decked out for Christmas. Let me tell you, the decorations were phenomenal. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside, so I had to sneak a few shots that, unfortunately, didn't turn out too well. Anyway - there was at least one or two Christmas trees in every single room and the grand dining hall had a 25-foot tall tree! It was incredible to say the least. Also, the tree on the front lawn (pictured above) is 55-feet tall. The whole place is quite spectacular.

Asheville is also quite the cute town! There are little shops and boutiques all over, as well as some especially great dining options. Asheville makes for the perfect two or three day trip, especially since a visit to the Biltmore takes up an entire day. I definitely want to head back to the Biltmore and walk the trails around the estate - there are so many gorgeous views of the house and the property that you wouldn't get if you didn't explore!

Also - I can't get enough of this sweater from Anthropologie! It's probably my favorite piece of the season.
