Witches, Ghouls, and Goblins Linkup

I'm so excited to be a part of the first of many holiday-themed linkups! Since Halloween is quickly approaching, this first post in the #GalPalHoliday Linkup will be, as you can probably tell from the title, all about Halloween. Although I love trick-or-treating, I think I may have outgrown that tradition. So, I wanted to share some ideas for celebrating Halloween that don't involve going door-to-door in your neighborhood!

1//Watch Movies with Friends
I don't know about you, but I love Halloween movies. The Disney classics alone are great - think Halloweentown (all of them!), Hocus Pocus, The Haunted Mansion, etc. etc. Get some of your best friends together, make a popcorn/candycorn mix, and watch some movies!

2//Host a Pumpkin Carving Event
This could technically be combined with the idea above. And if you're anything like me (AKA - horrible at carving pumpkins), you could paint them as well! If you do carve them though, save the seeds and bake them in the oven for a snack!

3//Go to a Costume Party
I feel like this one is self-explanatory. Plus, who doesn't love dressing up every once and a while?

4//Have an All-Things-Fall Event
Pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, chai tea, leaf piles, plaid flannels, bean boots, pumpkins, apple cider, apple cinnamon donuts - and that's just getting started. Think of every fall thing you can, and combine them into one, big fall-y event!

5//See What Events are Going on in Your Area
Chances are, there's going to be some kind of Halloween event in your area on, or around the days of, Halloween. It could be a block party, a street fair, even a parade. Figure it out and go have fun!

Don't forget to check out Cathleen, Rachel, and Cristina's blogs for more of the linked posts!
