What I'm Looking Forward to in the iPhone 6

Everything about today is irrelevant besides the fact that the iPhone 6 was released! I am way too excited for my own good because I have had the 4S for almost three years now and I definitely am looking to upgrade. I always love the number upgrades (rather than the letter upgrades) because they generally come with a new physical design and pretty spectacular features. So, here's what I'm looking forward to!

iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch display. iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch display.
These are the thinnest iPhones ever made.

First of all, the phone is bigger! (They also have a second version called the iPhone 6 Plus which is pretty much the size of a Samsung Galaxy.) I love bigger screens because that means easier photo editing, better emailing/texting, and just great interfaces overall with apps and such.

Also, the phone is thinner! I've never liked how chunky iPhones are, but this one is noticeably thinner. It'll definitely fit in my purse and pocket better!

Processor performance is 50 times faster than the original iPhone.

The new processing chip is also going to make the phone much faster! This graph is pretty much a game-changer, because look where the 4S (what I have) is! I cannot believe how slow my current phone is compared to the iPhone 6. I cannot wait to get this in my hands!

iPhone 6 has an 8MP iSight camera, 1.5µ pixels, ƒ/2.2 aperture. And an all-new sensor.

The camera is 8mp with an aperture of 2.2. Basically, that means that the iPhone 6 has a pretty rockin' camera. I always have thousands of pictures on my phone at any given moment, so I'm really looking forward to the quality of the lens. Take a moment to appreciate the picture below, which was taken with an iPhone 6:

Amazing, right?

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus come with iOS 8.

iOS 8. Enough said. Every iOS update from Apple is pretty much amazing. This one is going to be awesome because it comes with a health app which tracks steps, flights of stairs climbed, miles run, calories eaten, etc. They've also made a feature where you can name group chats. You can NAME GROUP CHATS!! This is truly life-changing, as a frequent group chat user.

They've also redesigned the keyboard software to make auto-correct and updated iCloud so it's a little more user-friendly and not so confusing. (Where even is this "cloud?")

iPhone 6 starts at $199 with a two-year contract.

To finish off, take a look at those prices. Now, take a second look. They've gotten rid of the 32gb option and went straight to the 64gb option, but for the same price as the 32 used to be!! This is so, so wonderful, especially because I take so many pictures which generally end up taking up a lot of space.

So, you can pre-order the iPhone 6 (or 6 Plus) starting Friday, September 12th, and it's released in stores on the 19th!

I am so pre-ordering the second it hits the 12th! Can't wait!

What do you think about Apple's new iPhone?
